Lock Nuts & Half Locknuts
What is a lock nut? Lock nuts (also known as half locknuts or half nuts) are half the thickness of a standard nut and conform to DIN439. When tightened against a standard nut they lock the two nuts together, and they can also be used where a standard nut won't fit.
Also known as a locking nut, self-locking nut, prevailing torque nut or stiff nut — sometimes written as locknut or lock nut.
Available in zinc plated steel, sizes M4 to M12, supplied in packs of 100.
