About Us
From molten metal to family fixings business
Fastco started with a simple idea: to provide high-quality fasteners and fixings to anyone who needs them.
Our story begins with my father, John, who worked at Midland Rollmakers in Crewe, forging rolls for the building and railway industries in the 1960s. It was tough, hazardous work, but his entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start his own business selling nuts and bolts in 1982 before opening many more ventures.
In 1999, we launched Fastco together. Though my father sadly passed away in 2002, my wife, Charlotte, joined me in 2004. Together, we’ve built Fastco into what it is today.

At Fastco, we’ve got thousands of products – from screws, nuts and bolts to ironmongery, washers and rivets in every size and shape imaginable.
We began by supplying the agricultural and industrial sectors, but today, we proudly serve tradespeople, businesses and the public, helping everyone from large organisations to sole traders find the perfect fix.
