Plasterboard Fixings
Fixing into plasterboard needs the right fixing for the job — a screw into the stud, a self-tapping metal anchor into the board itself, or a cavity toggle for anything heavy. This range covers all three, at trade prices, in stock for fast UK delivery.
Self-tapping metal plasterboard fixings (like the Fischer PDM) cut their own thread into single or double board, rear-insulated board and fibreboard — the standard choice for pictures, skirting, switches, cable ducts and curtain rails, with pan-head screws included.
Dot & dab (dry-lined) walls need fixings that bridge the adhesive cavity and pull tight to the masonry behind — the Fischer DDF range is made for exactly that.
For radiators, TVs, brackets and anything with weight behind it, nylon toggle cavity fixings spread the load across the board — the Fischer DuoTec opens behind the cavity so the load is carried by the whole sheet, not one point.
Boarding out a room? You need the screws, not the fixings: our drywall screws range carries fine-thread bugle-head screws for timber studs, self-drilling wafer-head screws for metal framing, and 1,000-box trade packs from 13mm to 90mm.
Not sure which fixing suits the wall in front of you? Call the team on 01270 252 326 — we fix into plasterboard every day.
