Product: Fischer Second Fix Nails
What is a Second Fix Nail?
Second fix nails are straight or angled nails, perfect for finishing more delicate wood projects such as internal housing jobs, trims and upholstery where attention to detail is required.
You always use them after first fix nails, and they are perfect for builders, carpenters, and woodworkers.
Also known as
Stick nails, finishing nails or brad nails.
Why use Second Fix Nails or Brad Nails?
Second fix nails are ideal for precision jobs, creating an invisible, smooth appearance. Their galvanised ends reduce the risk of splitting the wood, making them perfect for skirting boards, architraves, tongue-and-groove panels and timber cladding.
Use them to join two pieces of wood or to hold the wood in place without visible fasteners.
Second Fix Nails: How they work
Load the nails into your nail gun, and the nail head conceals itself when fired into the wood.
Second fix nails come in a glued strip with low-tack glue, preventing jamming in the nail gun. We also stock angled nails for angled nail guns, which let you easily reach fiddly spots and tight corners.
