What is a Threaded Bar?

A threaded bar is a long metal rod with threads along its entire length, designed for secure fastening in a wide range of applications. You can cut it to your desired length or extend it using connecting nuts.

Also known as

Allthread, threaded studding, studbar or threaded rod.

Why use Threaded Bars?

Threaded bars are used for a variety of purposes when paired with nuts, washers or washer plates:

  • For building garden rooms or offices by creating strong foundations.

  • In engineering for machine assembly.

  • In construction for reinforcing structures and anchoring heavy materials.

  • In the automotive industry, assembling and adjusting parts.

  • For home improvement projects to secure fixtures.

  • In electrical installations for suspending cable trays and conduits.

Threaded Bars: How they work

Pair threaded bars with nuts and washers. The threads grip the nut securely, allowing you to fix materials in place so your project is stable and strong.
